The gradual decrease or increase of the color size and directions is what so called progressive rhythm

Proportion and scale.
Proportion and scale define the proportion of room size. Proportion is the relation of the objects and the element in side the room. While scale on the other hand, is related to the object size with the space available to the objects.

Harmony and Unity.
We can say the room is well-design if there is unification of the element of all design principle. The sense of order is assured by the unity. The room should have its consistent on pattern, color, shape and sizes. The final goal of redecorating is to create rhythm and harmony of the room. The sense of room personality can be obtained by repeating the elements and balancing it to the room evenly.
